While most loan originators are simply “order takers,” David Colclough is a passionate advocate for his clients. David sees it as an honor to be entrusted with helping people buy or refinance a residential or commercial property, as they make one of, if not THE biggest purchase in their lives. He never takes this responsibility lightly or for granted. By focusing on learning what his client’s long-term goals are, he takes on the role of consultant, educating his clients on the buying process while guiding them to the best loan program for their needs. He does this while leveraging the latest technology to make the entire process as smooth and pain-free as possible. David strives to gain “clients for life” by providing World-Class service.
David has a bachelor’s degree in Management and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and a member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He and his wife have volunteered for several years as Guardians ad Litem for abused and neglected children, and they are huge advocates for adoption. The Colcloughs serve as ministers in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and much of their ministry work focuses on strengthening youth and families by mentoring youth, counseling couples, and teaching Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. They are the proud parents of six wonderful children (well… at any given time, at least five are wonderful, but there’s usually an outlier). Outside of the office, he likes to spend time with his family, travel, and scuba dive.
